5th Annual Dinner for Children with Incarcerated Parents on November 19th 1-4 PM
7 Senses will be hosting a dinner for children with incarcerated parents on November 19th 1-4 PM at House of Manna. There will be a prepared dinner, snow cones, arts and crafts table and giveaways (i.e. clothes, gift cards, school supplies, etc.). In addition, each child will be writing a list of wishes that 7 Senses works to have fulfilled for the Holiday season. Currently seeking giveaway items to distribute to families and volunteer support for set-up, clean-up, and managing the arts and crafts table.

Turkey Giveaway with Community Empowerment Association on November 19th 12-3 PM
Community Empowerment Association will be hosting their annual Turkey Giveaway on November 19th from 12-3 PM. They will be distributing turkeys and sides. Currently seeking donations of unexpired and non-perishable food (i.e. juice, peanut butter, powdered milk, pasta sauce, canned fruits, canned veggies, etc.) to distribute with the turkeys. Items can be dropped off at 7120 Kelly St before OR during the event on November 19th .

17th Annual Christmas Day at Pitt
Please consider sharing the attached flyer with your networks of staff, faculty, and student leaders that are interested in helping the Office of Engagement and Community Affairs make Christmas Day at Pitt (CDAP) a success. ECA supports departments through gift pickup, wrapping supplies, as well as suggestions for inclusive gifts that don’t limit the fun to specific gender identities (like board games, puzzles, etc.) Gifts collected will be distributed in Oakland, Homewood, the Hill District, and Hazelwood. Drop off unwrapped gifts at 710 Alumni Hall by Dec 16th. Units should keep wrapped gifts on site for coordinated pick-up the week of Dec 19th
