Volunteer for MLK Day!
Register today to participate in the MLK Day of Service on January 16!
You'll be able to indicate a residence hall, student organization or athletic team which you would like to serve with on Monday, January 16 in the registration form.
All projects will be indoors. Volunteer projects may include:
-Painting
-Cleaning/Beautifying buildings
-Packing food/hygiene kits
-Organizing supplies
-Helping in a food pantry
-And MORE!
You will be notified with your volunteer assignment by Friday, January 14th.
Project Leaders: If you are interested in serving as a project leader, please select "Yes" on the form below. You will be randomly assigned a project. If you are interested in working with a student organization or residence hall/floor, you can list it with your registration and we will try to accommodate all requests. Projects will be limited to two project leaders. If you are signing up to be a project leader for your student organization or residence hall/floor, please allow no more than two members of your group to sign up to be project leaders. Project leaders will be responsible for taking group attendance and ensuring that University policies are being followed. All project leaders will need to attend a short mandatory training session before leading on the day of service. If you have any questions, please email signaturedaysofservice@pitt.edu
