Rooted in Community: Juneteenth Volunteer Day with St. Paul AME Church

Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion | University of Pittsburgh 
As part of the University of Pittsburgh Juneteenth programming, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will host Rooted in Community in partnership with the Office of PittServes and the Office of Engagement and Community Affairs. This event aims to create sustained relationships with communities surrounding the University and educate our Pitt community on the rich history ingrained in those communities. University students, staff, and faculty will volunteer at numerous community gardens in and surrounding the greater Pittsburgh area. 

Join St. Paul AME Church to help clean up their vegetable garden as they are in the process of developing a “Forever Garden"!

St. Paul AME Church will be providing lunch to volunteers.
