Unload our Delivery Truck!
Our food pantry serves over 500 individuals each week, providing them with much needed nutritious foods and other resources and supports to help break down barriers to food access, housing, and education and employment opportunities. (We are way more than just a food pantry!)
The shifts we are always desperately in need to fill are Monday mornings from 8:50am to about 12pm (sometimes the shift ends earlier). This shift is strictly for helping to unload our food truck delivery from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. This is the day we have the most inconsistent help.
We also always welcome groups at ANY time to help keep things organized. We function solely on one full time employee and one part time employee in the food pantry. So, our volunteers are our bread and butter! Special projects are always welcome!
