Need your help for the Poverty Simulation

We’re inviting you to volunteer for the upcoming Poverty Simulation on Monday, September, 28 2026.

This is a great opportunity to show your spirit and support for our

senior BSN and ABSN nursing students as they learn about the “Social Determinants of Health.”

We understand your time is precious and your schedule is busy, but your help is crucial, and we

believe your participation will provide valuable inspiration to our students.

There will be two sessions: 9:30 – 11:30 AM and 12:30 – 2:30 PM at the O’Hara Student Center.

Even if you can only attend part of a session, your involvement would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers

will receive a light breakfast, lunch, and parking.

For any questions, contact Cortney Miele (Cem299@pitt.edu) / Kay Ryu (kkr18@pitt.edu) / Na Jin Park (PARKNJ1@pitt.edu).
