Cribs for Kids

Cribs for Kids® is a nationwide partnership of advocates whose mission is to: reduce infant sleep-related death; promote and support research into the cause and prevention; and provide grief support through our Healing Hearts Infant Bereavement Resources for families whose infants have died. In Allegheny County Cribs for Kids® educates parents in every birthing hospital about reducing the risk of sleep-related death by teaching the ABCs of safe sleep:  Alone, on the Back, in an uncluttered safety-approved Crib (on a firm mattress); and by providing portable, Pack ‘n Play cribs to families who, otherwise, would not have a safe place for their babies to sleep.
