MLK COMMUNITY GARDEN

Martin Luther King community garden & farm was founded in a disused baseball field, with the help of Grow Pittsburgh, in the spring season of 2015. It includes 40+ individual plots, a growing community farm area, and kid's play space. We focus on cultivating more opportunities for the community to plant, grow, and eat fresh food as well as have more time spent in a natural environment. A portion of the vegetables and herbs that we grow are donated to the Jubilee Kitchen.
