The NEXTneighborhood is an initiative by The Mayor's Office, the URA, and NEXTpittsburgh whose purpose is to showcase emerging neighborhoods in Pittsburgh and promote affordable housing. The program is a weekend to celebrate and highlight neighborhood culture, businesses, and amenities in the spotlighted neighborhood. Introducing NEXTneighborhood: Homewood Get to know Homewood and discover this distinct Pittsburgh neighborhood. Rooted in history and on the rise, Homewood's business owners, artists, and residents welcome you to explore, tour, and celebrate with them on August 18th and 19th, 2018. Location Hamilton Ave between North Homewood Ave. and N. Lang Ave and the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh- Homewood: 7101 Hamilton Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15208 Day 1 Saturday, August 18, 2018 – Neighborhood Block Party 1pm-6pm Day 2 Sunday, August 19, 2018- Homewood Open Houses + Self Guided Tours 11:30am-2:30pm
