Pitt Votes Ambassador Program
We are looking for students who possess an interest in civic and community engagement to be Voter Ambassadors! You’ll help us encourage voter participation and civic engagement across campus by tabling, registering students to vote, sharing voter info with your peers, and participating in civic engagement events. You must be:
- a student at Pitt
- willing to learn about PA election guidelines
- able to commit 25 hours per semester
- outgoing and willing to engage with students and faculty

CEEP
Campus Elections Engagement Project (CEEP) – is a national non-partisan project that helps America’s colleges and universities get as many of their 20 million students as possible to register, volunteer in campaigns, educate themselves, and turn out at the polls. We teach administrators, faculty, staff and student leaders to use their institutional resources to engage students.
The University of Pittsburgh will have up to two (2) fellows (available to any current student) that will assist in the development of this plan and implement independent ideas on campus. The goal is to engage students in the entire election process.

CVP
Campus Vote Project Democracy Fellowship will permit up to two (2) fellows (available to any current student) that will work with the entire team to assist in the engagement of the action plan and consistent revisions to this action plan. In addition, this person will explore hosting events, building coalitions, etc. Learn more about the fellowship here.

League of Women Voters Pennsylvania – The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania is a statewide, nonpartisan, and grassroots organization. Their dedicated members work every day to provide voter services, educate the public, and advocate for issues that matter. PUMP – PUMP’s mission is to make Pittsburgh the most dynamic and diverse place by engaging, educating, and mobilizing all young people to create change in our community. Each year, they serve nearly 30,000 individuals, primarily under the age of 40, through our advocacy, civic, social, and recreational programming.
New Pennsylvania Project – The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) was founded to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election – twice a year.
